A Fundraiser by Alek Petrov: Alek’s Triathlon for STEM Education - Part 2

June 25th, 2025 News

On June 8th, Alek Petrov didn’t just complete the Eastbourne Triathlon — he challenged himself both physically and mentally to support a cause that is very dear to his heart, namely STEM Education in Bulgaria - an initiative started by the organisation Teach for Bulgaria.

With every wave he swam through, every hill he climbed, and every step he pushed forward, Alek carried a vision: a future where every child in Bulgaria has access to inspiring, high-quality STEM education.

Thanks to your belief in that vision, over €2,700 has already been raised by 25+ incredible supporters.

To each of you — thank you!

But we’re not done yet.

The fundraiser will remain open for the upcoming 3 months, until September 28th, 2025. All donations made during this period will be matched by the EBRD, effectively doubling the total contribution, and bringing the initiative one step closer to becoming a reality.

Our goal is to reach even more classrooms, empower more teachers, and open more doors for the next generation of Bulgarian innovators, leaders, and creators in STEM.
